Dear Antonio,

My girlfriend keeps trying to pick up the check when we go out to dinner. It’s not like I can’t afford to buy her a meal — I wouldn’t take her out if I didn’t want to pay — but she’s got some “politically correct” notion that I’m objectifying her femininity or something. How can I make her see the light of day?
