What's it like being famous? If you had it all to do over again, would you?

Dear Curious,

The good thing about being famous is you're vetted. People who don't know you give you approval, the benefit of the doubt. The betties bat their eyes. And I can't count how much money I've won from the guys around the table who are either scared of me or want a piece of me. But there's a downside. Even though I'm not Barry Bonds famous, there are times when I can't get the privacy I want because people think I owe them a piece of my time. I try to be cool, though, with everyone I meet, 'cause I know how easily this could all go away. As far as would I do it all over again, not just yes but hell yes. It's a great life and I wouldn't change it for anything.
